NEWS AND HEADLINES                              April 2024

SUN SCREEN AND BUG SPRAY – if your child needs it this Spring and Summer, please bring it.  We’ll have you fill out a medical form for it.

WATER PLAY this summer – We have splash pads for the kiddos to play in.  Please bring water shoes, swimwear or a pair of shorts and a shirt you don’t mind leaving here for them to play in and get wet, and likely dirty – for some reason the mud is always calling their name.  We’ll wash these items.  Towels can be brought too, but please do not bring your best towels.  Please write their name or last name in their items or we will be using a sharpie.

Shoes while outside – we will be pushing the kiddos to keep their shoes on while outside as we do have small bees that love to live in the yard by the flowering weeds.

• EXTRA CLOTHES – ALL AGES if your child does not have an extra pair of clothing here – you need to send a set of clothes for them.  Accidents happen: Spills, mud puddles, vomiting, peeing, dreaded diarrhea, etc.  Your child needs clothes to wear when these happen. * NEW FEE For clothing provided by the daycare; I will be charging a $5 fee for each piece of clothing not brought back cleaned within 5 days.

• BLANKETS – Ages 1 to 4.  If your child does not have a blanket here weekly, you need to provide one for them.  They enjoy having the comfort from home while they are resting, I would prefer you provide one from home. * NEW FEE If I provide a blanket for your child, I will be charging a $3 fee to use my blankets to cover the cost of laundry.

 

         *New Fees  – These fees are not covered by tuition nor are they covered by subsidy payments by DHS or Tribes and 

               will only be charged when blankets are used or clothing is used and not returned.

Brightwheel

We are now using the ap Brightwheel as communication with our families.  This ap is free for parents to download to get updates on your kiddo's day, pictures of them, and best way to interact with your child's teacher.

 If your child has had updated immunizations since they began attending, please provide us with the updated information.  We also would like to update:

New Addresses       New Phone Numbers        Permissions to Pick up         Emergency Numbers
